Glendale, Los Angeles County
The Museum of Neon Art was founded in Los Angeles in 1981 and reopened in downtown Glendale in 2016, across Brand Boulevard from the Americana. Its galleries glow with restored signs from theaters, diners and motels, along with new work by artists who bend glass tubing by hand. The museum also teaches classes in the craft.
